About the role

PetroCONNECT is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic ETQA Administrator in the Kloof, KZN area who will be responsible for providing administrative support to the ETQA division to ensure that all learner records and achievements are quality assured on the Learner Management Database according to Company policies and procedures. This includes but not limited to:

Roles and Responsibilities


Administrative Support

  • Maintain records of training providers, learners, and assessors.
  • Assist with data capturing for learner achievements on the NLRD (National Learners’ Records Database).
  • Support with the management of accreditation and registration documents.

Accreditation Processes

  • Help process applications for provider accreditation and programme approval.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating site visits for accreditation audits.
  • Compile documentation for evaluation and submission to the ETQA Manager or officers.

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Support in monitoring training providers’ compliance with SETA/ETQA requirements.
  • Assist with evaluation and verification processes.
  • Collect and file evidence for audits and quality reviews.

Communication and Coordination

  • Liaise with training providers, assessors, and moderators.
  • Help coordinate training workshops, events, and ETQA meetings.
  • Respond to general ETQA-related queries and provide accurate information.

Database and Document Management

  • Update databases with provider and learner information.
  • Maintain accurate records of moderation and verification reports.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with the Quality Management System (QMS).

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Training Administration environment.
  • Degree in Training Administration or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word essential).
  • Understanding of the SETA landscape and NQF (National Qualifications Framework).
  • Familiarity with SAQA and ETQA policies and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of accreditation and quality assurance processes.
