About the Role:

PetroCONNECT is looking for a ETQA & Administration Supervisor in the Kloof, KZN area to oversee the administrative function of the Labour Activation Programme, ensuring that all learner documentation and processes comply with ETQA and SETA standard.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all learner records, registers, reports, and supporting documentation meet SETA requirements and are managed/kept up to date in the appropriate system.
  • Provide training, guidance, and continuous oversight to the team of administrators to improve data accuracy and compliance in the CRM and Project Management system.
  • Monitor the preparation and submission of Portfolios of Evidence (POEs), track assessments, and liaise with facilitators and assessors.
  • Support audits, monitoring visits, verifications, and certification processes by maintaining a high standard of documentation readiness.
  • Identify gaps and risks in administrative processes and implement corrective measures to strengthen compliance.
  • Lead and motivate team to build a culture of early-risk detection for sustainable and smooth overall project management.
  • Serve as the primary link between administrative functions and the ETQA office, ensuring alignment and accountability.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments such as M&E, Quality Assurance, and Employer Relations to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in an ETQA, quality assurance, or SETA-aligned administrative role
  • Diploma or Degree in Education, Training & Development, or a related field
  • Previous experience in skills development or learnership administration. Strong understanding of SETA and learnership compliance requirements
  • Professional experience in project management. Project management certifications advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel essential), learner management systems, CRM and Project management systems
  • Experience in audit preparation and support is an advantage
  • Own Transport essential
