How are the programmes delivered?

The programmes are delivered through e-learning, face to face or blended.

Are there minimum requirements?

South African citizenship, English proficiency (spoken and written), matric qualification or equivalent depending on the level of qualification, clear criminal and credit record.

What are the benefits of skills development for business owners?

This offering involves appointing PetroCONNECT as your Skills Development Facilitator (SDF). As your SDF PetroCONNECT will be responsible for the following:

• Registering your business with the relevant SETA.
• Identifying skills shortages in the organisation by conducting a skills audit and job
analysis.
• Developing a comprehensive approach to the upskilling of your employees.
• Developing and submitting your sector skills plan to the SETA to unlock Mandatory
Grant funding for your business.
• Applying for Discretionary Grant Funding for your business to implement various
learning programmes to the benefit of your employees and unemployed youth.
• Project managing the implementation of all learning programmes approved by SETA.
• Managing and maintaining all administration regarding learning programmes in
respect of invoicing, learner administration and documentation management.
