Estate Agency Affairs Board

PetroCONNECT is registered under the Estate Agency Affairs Board

The Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB) was established in 1976 in terms of the Estate Agency Affairs Act, 112 of 1976 (“the Act”), with the mandate to regulate and control certain activities of estate agents in the public interest; and for incidental matters. PetroCONNECT has a certificate of professional designation and accreditation from the EAAB.

The EAAB regulates the estate agency profession by ensuring that all persons carrying out the activities of an estate agent as a public service, are registered with the EAAB and hold a fidelity fund certificate. A core function of the EAAB is to manage and control the Estate Agents Fidelity Fund in the interest of the public and estate agents registered with the EAAB.

W&R SETA

PetroCONNECT is an accredited training institution under the W&RSETA.
The Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA) was established in 2000 in terms of the Skills Development Act (as amended).

The public entity aims to facilitate the skills development needs of the Wholesale and Retail (W&R) Sector through the implementation of learning programmes, disbursement of grants and monitoring of education and training as outlined in the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS).

SETAs are entities of the Department of Higher Education and Training. There are 21 SETAs; each servicing a specific economic sector of the Country.
